Dies ist die Homepage von Holger Jakobs in Bergisch Gladbach, Deutschland.

Diese Seite enthält keine flimmernden Bildchen, kein Applet, keine Flash-Animation, nichts sehr Buntes. Aber sie genügt dem XHTML 1.0 strict standard, was ich für sehr viel wichtiger und hilfreich halte.

Ok, Applets und Flash-Animationen sind ohnehin seit einiger Zeit tot, ich habe das bereits erwartet und mich schon früher davon abgewandt. ;-)

This is the homepage of Holger Jakobs in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany.

This page does not contain any flickering images, no applet, no Flash animation, nothing very colorful. But it adheres to the XHTML 1.0 strict standard, which I regard as far more important and helpful.

Okay, applets and flash animation have been dead for a while now, but I anticipated it and didn't bother with them already a bit earlier. ;-)
